In March 2020, the in-person Ann Arbor Film Festival was canceled and our small team of four pivoted to an online platform in just twelve days. I created a comprehensive marketing strategy utilizing filmmaker messages, graphics, Facebook ads, and daily social media posts. The first-ever online festival had over 16,000 unique attendees from over 100 countries. Followers on Instagram increased by 58%, followers on Facebook by 6%, and followers on Twitter by 2%.
